Review Summary
ErgoLean AMP™ is supposed to be a dieter’s weapon in “the war against fat loss”. It is being marketed by a company called ErgoPharm which also makes other fitness products. Apart from combating fat, this “pre-workout neuro-stimulant” is also claimed to ease fatigue.
In this review, we shall be looking into the formulation and its possible benefits when used to support a healthy diet and regular exercise program. We will also be evaluating the role of stimulants in this product plus other matters regarding stimulants in general.

Ingredients at a Glance
This product contains the following ingredients: chocamine™ which is derived from the protein in cocoa, geranamine™ which is extracted from geranium oil and is similar to epinephrine (adrenaline), and caffeine. The product’s “potent” Central Nervous System (CNS) stimulant is described as having the ability to provide higher levels of energy, “incredible mental focus” and a “sense of well-being.”

Ingredients in Focus
We would like to note that CNS in diet pills may result in adverse effects for some users such as sleepless and susceptibility to cardiovascular problems. It is also an addictive substance. CNS stimulants create a short term effect characterized by jitters, increased heart rate and a “sped up” feeling. The so-called feeling of “well-being” as described in the product’s promotional material, may be the same feeling of euphoria commonly associated with stimulants. Geranamine™, described as an adrenalin mimetic, performs in a manner that mimics ephedrine in order to initiate “fat release”. The three ingredients Geranamine™, caffeine and chocamine™ together makes for a highly concentrated nervous system stimulant.

Diet Lifestyle
According to the website, the minimum dosage for this supplement is 1 capsule, once a day. This can be gradually increased to the “maximum recommended” dosage of 4 capsules, three times a day. Users are cautioned not to take more than 4 capsules per dosage. However, this can be a little misleading because if a dieter takes the 4 capsule maximum recommended dosage at the maximum recommended schedule of 3 times a day, the total number of capsules would actually total to 12!

Positives
- Reasonably priced (about $25.99 on some web sites)
- Does not contain Ephedra
Negatives
- Contains highly concentrated amounts of stimulants
- Daily dosage may be too much for some users
- Dosage recommendations are confusing and contradictory
- Resulting weight loss may be difficult to maintain long-ter

Final Thoughts
Quick fixes are never the best option. When it comes to weight loss, quick results often come at a price. Nothing is better than following a sensible diet and regular exercise program because the results are long-term and the dieter’s health is not put to risk. With all the good quality supplements available in the market, dieters do not have to resort to the use of unhealthy formulas to achieve their weight loss goals.
There are a number of new supplements designed to help dieters lose weight safely. These products may include the two important all-natural ingredients Hoodia and Advantra-Z®. Together, these two ingredients form a potent blend that minimizes caloric consumption and maximizes fat burning. Supplements that include these components are able to produce quality weight loss results without harmfully affecting the central nervous system the way stimulants do. We encourage consumers to try out the free trial samples which many reputable manufacturers offer. As a final word, if you are serious about losing weight, avoid quick fixes. It is only through a realistic and sensible approach that you would be able to attain quality and lasting weight loss results.
