As the name suggests, Estrolean is a supplement that contains estrogenic hormones to promote weight loss.

This new product from Slimstore is specifically geared towards women. It is said to affect the body both mentally and hormonally. Estrolean’s unique selling point is its ability to “balance” hormonal levels due to the presence of phyto-estrogens in the formula. These compounds are believed to encourage fat burning in the body.

Slimstore promotes Estrolean as an important and special formula, however its ingredients are not that much different from those found in many other similar products. In this review, we shall look closely at each ingredient to find out what it does and how it contributes to weight loss.

The main ingredients in Estrolean are divided into three categories:
Phyto-estrogens, “heat-seeking herbal metabogenics” and “super enzymes.” The phyto-estrogens in Estrolean are supposed to control weight gain by moderating hormone levels and curbing the appetite. However, there is no current research which shows that phyto-estrogens have the ability to do either of these. They may lower cholesterol and strengthen the bones but even so, researchers suggest that natural phyto-estrogens in food yield better results. The “herbal metabogenics” consist of Guarana, Green Tea and Yerb Mate extracts, and Citrus Aurantium. This product contains a high level of caffeine which is a substance that is known to produce unpleasant side-effects such as nausea, insomnia and jitters. However, we are glad to see that it also contains the thermogenic agent Citrus Aurantium albeit not in its patented form of Advantra-Z®.

The “super enzymes” in Estrolean contain Lipase, a hormone produced by the pancreas which helps in the breakdown of fat molecules. Studies show that most people create sufficient amounts of Lipase on their own. These same studies say that Lipase supplements are beneficial in the digestion of fatty foods but they do not necessarily breakdown the fatty molecules any further.

After examining the Estrogen formula, we believe that none of its ingredients would yield satisfying weight loss results. There is no better way to get rid of excess weight than to engage in a program that includes a sensible diet and a regular exercise regimen.

Most of the ingredients in the formula are mild in dosage, however there are two elements which are worth noting. One is caffeine which is contained in the product in large amounts. When consumed on a daily basis, caffeine, which is a stimulant, may result in excitability. The other one is the group of hormone raisers which, based on the advertisement, may have been added to the product. Generally, hormones are taken under the supervision of a medical professional.
