Review Summary
The FitMD website features an eponymous online weight loss program which enables users to create a diet and exercise regiment customized to meet their specific needs. This program is promoted as helping dieters develop an understanding of how certain foods with natural fat burning properties can increase the body’s metabolism. Unfortunately, a specific example of the program can only be accessed by availing of the paid trial offer.
In this review we will be taking a look at the weight loss method used in this program to find out whether it will be able to deliver the advertised results. We shall also be comparing it with other similar programs on the market. |

Concept
The program starts with the user determining the amount of weight he wants to lose. A Body Mass Index (BMI) calculator is provided to help the dieter determine his healthy body weight. This online program guides users as they create meal plans, exercise schedules and automatically make them part of a community of fellow program members.

Website
The FitMD website does not provide much except an overview of what the system does. It does not even share testimonials from dieters who have successfully lost weight on the program. Additional information may only be obtained by signing up for the paid trial offer which is offered for a daily or monthly basis.
There is no research posted on the website to support the program’s weight loss theory and it displays only a limited sample of the services it offers. We have visited many other websites that share more information about the program they offer with potential customers.
What consumers are basically told is that the program will help them discover the right foods for their body type. An exercise program advertised on the site also has the same vaguely worded purpose which is “to discover what exercises are right for the individual’s body type”. We believe that customers should be provided with more information about a product in order for them to have something definite to base their purchasing decision on, whatever it may be. To us, this is proof that the manufacturer has faith that its product is able to produce results.

Final Thoughts
We think that the people behind FitMD owe consumers more that just a general idea of how the program may help in weight loss. Although it stresses how a specially designed program may result in significant weight loss, the examples provided are limited. Finally, we found it disappointing that consumers must pay for a trial offer to be able to get additional information about the program and to test how it works.
Overall we think that the less than satisfying website reflects the quality of the program itself. It is good that it requires changes in the diet and that the exercise regimen is designed to one’s body type. However, not everyone would be ready to commit to something they hardly have any idea of. Any diet and exercise program can be greatly enhanced by a weight loss supplement which contains a powerful appetite suppressant such as Hoodia. This herbal ingredient has been proven in clinical trials to be effective in curbing the appetite and reducing food cravings. The best weight loss supplements however, contain Hoodia combined with a metabolism booster.
