In-depth
This book was written by Deborah R. Mitchell. She had enlisted all the weight loss products there are in the market amounting to almost 200 brand names. For each product there were detailed information on its manufacturer and the claims it has made regarding the product. The book presents how the product is supposed to induce weight loss by the combination of ingredients or any other means. It also provides the necessary dosage that should be taken it order for the product to count as effective, the adverse effects that it may induce and other valuable information that one may think of asking about the product.
Aside from providing information as it has been stated on the product labels there were also researches that have been made proving the validity of the product’s claims. Readers would well benefit with the warnings and contraindication information provided on this book. It is important that products should be well scrutinized as it may cause some allergic reactions when it comes in contact with other type of foods or drugs.
It tackles on all sorts of weight loss products ranging from those that require prescriptions such as (Mazanor, Xenical and Meridia), Over-the-counter products (such as Chitosan, Chromoium Picolonate and Pyruvate) as well as herbal supplements, teas and weight loss soaps (such as Aoqili Slim Soap).

Final Thoughts
The Diet Pill book would indeed come in handy when you want to look up for a particular weight loss product and find out all about it in one sitting. Online help may also do the same but it would be difficult to tell which sites are indeed of quality reviews and which are those that are merely doing the review for the purpose of selling some products online.
The downside is that the book was published almost 8 years ago, making it outdated when it comes to newly formulated weight loss products such as those of starch blockers that are currently making a name in the weight loss industry.
