Like other dietary supplements, Zhen De Shou claims to promote fast weight loss. It is even dubbed as a “Chinese slimming Pill”; it is not easy to miss this dietary supplement because it is practically emblazoned everywhere: from various advertisements to spam e-mails and other means of promotional antics online. Actually, it is not yet clear who the manufacturer behind this product is. According to the advertisements, though, the manufacturer of Zhen De Shou is from a company in China.
More often than not, the claims that are made to market a certain product are nothing but gimmicks to make the products sell. Although we cannot verify the credibility of Zen De Shou just yet, we suspect that this product is merely a exhibiting a ploy to attract the consumers to its claim that it can make its user lose weight fast. In order to be fair, though, we are still going to give Zhen De Shou a fair shot by looking at its formulation before giving a verdict.
As of date, we saw no available information on the ingredients used in this product. This fact may frustrate a customer who believes in doing research before trying out a product. But to some, this may be indicative of the fact that Zhen De Shou is not a reliable because of the lack of information that it is willing to share to the general public.
From a comprehensive research, we were able to draw out scraps of information about Zhen De Shou. We found out that Zhen De Shou has some sort of a caffeine ingredient on its formulation. This means that using Zhen De Shou may deprive its user with a restful sleep. Jitters, insomnia, and nausea are also seen as a side effect of this supplement because of the stimulant effect that caffeine has on our system.
Due to the lack of information on the said product, we are suspecting that Ephedra is also being used on this product.
Ephedra is an herb that saw sensational for quite some time because of the optimal results it provided for the products which made use of it as a weight loss ingredient. However, this ingredient was banned by the FDA in 2004 due to its side effects, namely insomnia, nausea, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, and others. In severe cases, Ephedra may also cause heart failure and chronic diseases.
Due to the fact that Zhen De Shou has kept a seal on the contents of its formulation, we fear that ingredients that are altogether bad for the health are present in this product. Of course, we can only claim and make allegations. But then again, the fact that Zhen De Shou is not open about its ingredient is already an indication that it is hiding something.
Zhen De Shou was advertised as if the product itself is a phenomenal hit. But even through thorough research, we were unable to obtain testimonials that allude to the effectiveness of this product. In the end, we believe that the prime obligation of a manufacturer of diet supplements is to ensure optimal results without affecting the overall health of its consumer. Unfortunately, neither part of the clause was proven by the people behind Zhen De Shou.
